At last week’s Bridal Fashion Week, designer Michael Fausto debuted his first-ever wedding dress collection. Fausto’s collection draws its inspiration from the star-studded island of Capri, Italy, which has attracted artists, poets and socialites for many years. In this collection, Fausto’s interpretation of the iconic island has translated into dramatic silhouettes and eye-catching textiles.
The glamorous Fall 2020 collection showcases unconventional bridal designs including exposed bustiers, fabric cut-outs, billowing ruffles and exaggerated bows. Fausto’s eccentric high-fashion wedding gowns feature drapes of duchess satin, intricate hand-beading and even colourful bougainvillea patterns.
