Lazaro Fall 2013

Luxurious volume, rich texture and ornate hand-beading was top of mind for designer Lazaro Perez for his Lazaro Fall 2013 bridal collection. The newest offering, shown during bridal market in New York, featured dramatic silhouettes and rich embroidery, which gave the gowns a distinctly regal quality. Lush textural skirts and corset bodices appeared on the Lazaro Fall 2013 runway in a cascade of whisper-light ombre pastel hues lending a certain softness to the theatrical shapes. Belts also featured prominently within the Lazaro Fall 2013 collection, adorning both ballgowns and mermaid cuts. There was even a chic belted mini accessorized with a whimsical tulle trail, vaguely reminiscent of this look featured on Oscar de la Renta’s Spring 2013 runway, but of all of the glamorous showpieces presented during the Lazaro Fall 2013 show, none were as breathtaking as the strapless ballgown pictured above. The stunning hand-beaded corset and its voluminous blue tulle skirt overlaid with beaded detail is truly a testament to Lazaro’s talent and attention to detail. Even if an ornate ballgown is not quite your cup of tea, you’re sure to find a wedding gown within the Lazaro Fall 2013 that will leave your friends, family and husband to be absolutely breathless as you walk down the aisle.
